Ajans.az reports that the primary objective of the meeting was to explore opportunities for collaboration in the implementation of artificial intelligence and digital health technologies, the digital transformation of the healthcare system, and the exchange of international expertise.
The meeting was held under the leadership of TABIB’s Executive Director, Mr. Vugar Gurbanov, and brought together representatives from TABIB, M42 — a leading healthcare technology company from the United Arab Emirates — and Proxima Tech Solutions LLC, one of Azerbaijan’s foremost technology firms.
During the session, company representatives delivered presentations highlighting their activities and strategic vision. M42, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, is a global healthcare technology company formed through the merger of G42 Healthcare and Mubadala Health. The company operates an extensive network of over 480 healthcare facilities across 26 countries and delivers cutting-edge solutions in artificial intelligence, genomics, and digital health. One of its flagship initiatives, Malaffi, is the region’s first Health Information Exchange (HIE) platform, designed to securely and efficiently connect public and private healthcare providers within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Proxima Tech Solutions LLC specializes in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure development and management, software engineering, and digital transformation. The company provides tailored digital solutions across various industries, helping clients optimize their business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
The parties discussed potential areas for future collaboration, including the implementation of digital health projects, the development of data exchange platforms, and the integration of AI-powered medical solutions.
Mr. Vugar Gurbanov emphasized TABIB’s commitment to enhancing the quality of healthcare services and accelerating digital transformation through strategic international partnerships. “This meeting marks a significant step toward the adoption of innovative technologies in Azerbaijan’s healthcare system and the acquisition of global best practices. We are currently evaluating the potential of artificial intelligence in hospital and healthcare management, and I am confident that collaboration in this area will yield valuable outcomes,” he stated.
