We are now seeking a skilled Power BI Analyst to join our analytics team and support data-driven initiatives across multiple projects.
Role Overview
As a Power BI Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and managing business intelligence solutions using Power BI. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, gather data from various sources, and create interactive dashboards and visualizations that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
- Gather and analyze business requirements from internal teams and clients
- Integrate data from various sources including Azure SQL, Excel, Databricks, and other databases
- Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and mobile responsiveness
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across all reports
- Perform data validation, DAX calculations, and create KPIs/metrics as needed
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to enhance data availability
- Provide insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic decisions
- Assist in training business users on how to interpret dashboards and use Power BI effectively
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with Microsoft Power BI (at least 2 years)
- Strong understanding of data visualization best practices
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data transformation techniques
- Experience with SQL and data modeling
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory) is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Nice to Have
- Experience with Power BI Service, Row-Level Security (RLS), and workspace management
- Exposure to other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is an advantage
- Domain knowledge in finance, retail, or healthcare analytics is preferred
